Man killed after falling from float during Scotiabank Toronto Caribbean Carnival Parade

TORONTO ? A man has succumbed to injuries sustained after he fell and was struck by a float during the 46th annual ?Scotiabank Toronto Caribbean Carnival Parade.

Toronto police confirmed they responded to a call of a struck pedestrian in the area of Lake Shore Boulevard West and Dowling Avenue at?8:50 p.m.

An 18-year-old man had reportedly fallen from parade float and was subsequently struck by it.

The man was rushed to the hospital with life-threatening injuries, where he later died.
