On her next album, Taylor Swift is not shying away from what has become a wildly successful mantra: sing about what she knows.
The new Vogue cover girl tells this magazine that her upcoming album - which does not have a release date - will focus on an "absolute crash-and-burn heartbreak" she experienced at some point in the not-too-distant past.
Uh-oh. Should Jake Gyllenhaal be worried?
Why does Swift keep penning such personal singles? They help her gain "clarity" and simply "feel better" about break-ups, the singer adds in the interview.
And how is Taylor just like any 21-year old? She worries about the future.
“I fret about the future. What my next move should be. What the move after that should be. How I am going to sustain this. How do I evolve. I get so ahead of myself. I’m like, ‘What am I going to be doing at 30?’ But there’s no way to know that! So it’s this endless mind-boggling equation that you’ll never figure out. I overanalyze myself into being a big bag of worries.”
For more from Taylor, pick up this issue of Vogue when it goes on sale on January 24.
